Hot Hair Trends for 2009

Published by kendrac at 6:57 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Spring has sprung ladies.Like every warm blooded women we all love to shed the previous year and pull out all the stops for the year to come and what a better time to do it.  I have a few favorites that I found.  Here are a few ideas to get you going for 2009.1) Do the Bob.  The cut that continues to be most persistent throughout the years.  For 2009 celebrities like Charlize Theron, Hayden Panettiere, and Eva Longoria Parker.  Whether you side sweep your bangs or keep them, this timeless haircut is making bold statements for this year.2) Great Lengths of Wave is all the rage.  Since it’s shaping up that 2009 will be the year of soft and sheer, why not scrunch and go.  Take it easy on the product though you don’t want to make this look too over done.  Simply scrunch in a quarter sized amount of frizz fighter of your choice and let it air dry. 3) If your going for a night out on the town or a simple dinner for two, less is more.  The chic and simple ponytail will do just the trick.  Position the ponytail at the nape of the neck for a subtle sexy look. Give hair a light mist of hairspray to keep the fly-a-ways down and you are ready to go.4) If you want to dress it up and get a little playful.  Tease the top.  Take a three inch by three inch section on the crown and tease it with a tail comb. Periodically adding a mist or two of hairspray at the root. Once you have reached desired amount of height, pull back and fasten with bobby pins. Leave it messy for the not trying too hard look or use the tail comb and do some tucking to clean it up.  5) Last but not least what would it be with color.  It seems to me that natural is going to be 2009. Gone are the days of bold color. Keep it warm and glossy. Natural blonde tones and warm browns will keep on track with trend.  So get rid of roots by getting back to your natural roots.  So there you have a brief insight into 2009 hair trends.  Keep it natural and flowing.  Give you hair a break from the blow dryers, straight irons, permanent colors and overload of product.  Not trying to hard this year will not only give your hair the rest it needs but will keep you trendy and on top this year.
